This is the clearest difference. REQUR costs €39.99 a month. Everything is in there: member management, scheduling, the app for your members, POS, reports and support. No modules to buy later, no set-up fees and no tiers based on the number of members.

Virtuagym does not publish rates on its own site. You request a demo and get a proposal based on your situation and the modules you choose. External comparison sites mention amounts that can add up considerably for a small studio with a few modules. That may work out fine, but it makes budgeting in advance harder, and you want to be clear on what happens to your price when you grow or add a module.

What is often forgotten: transaction fees. At REQUR you pay a fixed amount per transaction, from €0.07 for card payments and €0.20 for iDEAL and SEPA direct debit, with no percentage of your revenue. Ask every provider explicitly for both the percentage and the fixed amount per transaction, because on an annual basis there is often more difference there than in the subscription itself.

Virtuagym works with separate components for management, coaching and member engagement. That is pleasant if you know exactly what you need and do not want to pay for the rest. It becomes annoying when you discover along the way that the feature you are looking for sits in a different package.

REQUR deliberately goes the other way: one plan with everything in it. You do not have to puzzle over whether waitlists, the POS or the AI planner belong to your package, because they always do. For an owner with one or two sites that saves a lot of comparing.

Both offer an app in which members book classes, see their membership and receive messages. Virtuagym has an extensive app with workouts and nutrition features, which makes sense given its coaching background.

REQUR delivers an app in your branding in which members book, pay, cancel and get push notifications. On top of that you reach them through SMS, WhatsApp and email from the same system. Fewer bells and whistles than a complete coaching suite, but everything needed to keep your schedule full and your members engaged.

A switch stands or falls with your data. Running direct debit mandates, payment history and active memberships have to come along, otherwise you start with a gap in your administration.

At REQUR the migration is part of the process: you are live within two weeks, including an intro call, data migration and setting up your memberships, branding and app together. In the first week after going live we stay extra close. Ask every provider who carries out the migration and whether there are costs attached.
