Privacy statement

How REQUR B.V. handles your personal data and that of your members. This English translation is provided for convenience; the Dutch version is the binding one.

1. Who we are

REQUR B.V. (hereinafter: REQUR) is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy statement. You can reach us at info@requr.nl.

2. Which data we process

We process the data you provide to us yourself and data that arises from using REQUR:

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number and organisation.
  • Account and usage data: login details and how you use REQUR.
  • Your members' data that you enter into REQUR; for this data you are the controller and we process it on your behalf.
  • Payment data: processed through our payment providers. We do not store full card details ourselves.

3. Why and on which legal basis

We process personal data to provide and improve our service, on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of the agreement (providing REQUR).
  • Legal obligation, such as the statutory retention period for tax purposes.
  • Legitimate interest: security, improvement and communication about our service.
  • Consent, for instance for certain cookies or the newsletter, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. How long we keep data

We do not keep personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or for as long as a statutory retention period requires. After your subscription ends we delete or anonymise data within a reasonable period.

5. Sharing with third parties

We never sell your data. We only share data with parties that help us provide the service, such as payment providers (for instance Mollie and Buckaroo) and hosting providers. We conclude data processing agreements with these processors. Data is in principle processed within the EU.

REQUR uses cookies and similar techniques. Read more about this in our cookie policy.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access, rectification and erasure.
  • Restriction of and objection to processing.
  • Portability of your data (data portability).
  • Withdrawing consent you gave earlier.

Do you have a question or complaint about how we handle your data? Contact us at info@requr.nl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful processing.
